Silver nickel alloy electrical contact materials have outstanding conductivity and thermal conductivity, strong resistance to metal handling, arc burning, electrical corrosion, etc., good wear resistance, high strength, and outstanding ductility and cutting ability. Recently, silver and nickel co spraying powder production and mechanical alloying techniques have been developed, resulting in better data functionality. In silver nickel alloys, a few rare earth elements can be added to improve their functionality. Silver nickel alloys are commonly used in low-voltage electrical appliances. AgNi10 is mostly used for communication touch devices below 20A; AgNi (15-40) can withstand larger loads.
