Suggestions for the use of silver contacts are as follows:

a. The silver contact riveting workshop should be dust-free to prevent foreign objects such as dust from adhering to the contact surface during the processing

b. Pay attention to the surrounding environment of the processing site, separate organic plastic materials from contact components, and prevent organic substances from adhering to the contact surface and causing contact obstacles

c. Personnel performing riveting processing must wear fingertips before starting work, and should avoid touching the silver layer surface of the contacts as much as possible to avoid oxidation (blackening)

d. The suitable environmental temperature for the silver contact processing workshop is 22~24 ℃, and the relative humidity is 40~55% RH

e. To avoid sulfurization (yellowing) of silver contacts, silver contacts that have already been sealed should be used up within 12 hours as much as possible. If they are not used up, please seal and store the remaining contacts again (preferably vacuum packaged)

The contact may generate excessive electrical sparks during use. The contact surface will become uneven, and the contact surface will become smaller, increasing the resistance and leading to temperature rise. If this is the case, just slightly polish the contact surface
